WiFiQR Tool provides a free, client-side web utility that allows individuals and businesses to generate two-dimensional barcodes (QR codes) encoding wireless network credentials using the universal WiFi URI scheme (WIFI:S:SSID;T:TYPE;P:PASSWORD;;). The service also provides tools to preview, customize, download, and format printable signs.

3. Free Tool Usage & License

WiFiQR Tool is offered free of charge for both personal and commercial use without requiring registration, subscription fees, or account creation.

Subject to compliance with these Terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to access the website, generate QR codes, download generated assets, and display printed signs in homes, offices, cafes, vacation rentals, hotels, and retail establishments.

4. User Responsibilities & Physical Security

When utilizing WiFiQR Tool, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have legal authorization to configure and distribute access to the wireless network details you input.
• Anyone with line of sight or camera access to a generated or printed QR code can read the network SSID and password using standard barcode scanning software.
• You are responsible for the physical security and placement of printed WiFi cards and tabletop signs.

5. Accuracy of Generated QR Codes

Our generator encodes the exact text characters you enter into the input fields. WiFiQR Tool cannot verify whether your network name or password is typed correctly or matches your router's actual configuration.

You are strongly advised to test newly generated QR codes with a smartphone camera before printing batches of signs or affixing them to walls.

6. No Guarantee of Device Compatibility

While WiFiQR Tool constructs QR codes following the universal open ZXing specification supported natively by modern Apple iOS (11+) and Google Android (10+) operating systems, we cannot guarantee that every legacy phone, customized Android ROM, camera hardware module, or third-party scanner application will support automated connection without manual intervention.

7. Prohibited Usage

You agree not to use WiFiQR Tool to:

• Encode fraudulent, malicious, deceptive, phishing, or harmful payloads.
• Distribute unauthorized access credentials to networks you do not own or administer.
• Engage in automated scraping, denial of service (DoS) attacks, or actions that impair website infrastructure.
• Violate any local, state, national, or international cybersecurity laws or regulations.

8. Intellectual Property

All website software, branding, logos, layout designs, text copy, and stylesheets are the intellectual property of WiFiQR Tool and are protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright laws.

The QR code images and printable signs that you generate using your own network credentials belong to you and may be distributed freely for your personal or commercial needs.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
